Join a 'Dine Around' Dinner in Boston
The Dine Around Committee welcomes you to Boston!! While you're in Beantown, we want to share with you some of the favorite dining experiences that the locals enjoy. From Back Bay to Fenway to Chinatown to Downtown Boston to the North End to the Seaport District, you'll find that there are just too many choices for a memorable meal. To help narrow the options, the Dine Around Committee has selected a variety of restaurants in a few of the neighborhoods around the city for you to explore with your fellow librarians. We are offering two Dine Around events during the conference, including one on Saturday, July 21st and one on Tuesday, July 24th.
For those of you who haven't heard of the "Dine Around" dinner, it's a casual dining experience with fellow AALL attendees who want to enjoy a nice meal and interesting conversation. Sharing a meal with new friends is always a highlight of the annual conference for me! Each Dine Around dinner will be hosted by a local Law Librarian, who coordinates the details of the evening like where and when the group should meet to travel to the restaurant, making reservations for the group, and managing payment of the check for the group. Dine Around attendees will be responsible to pay for their own meal, drinks, and associated tip. The Dine Arounds are offered to the AALL conference attendees as yet another way to help you make the most of your conference and connect with your colleagues.
There are 5 Dine Around options on Sunday night and 4 options on Tuesday night. Please see the list of restaurants available for each Dine Around evening below.
For more information on the restaurant and menu options, please check out the restaurant's website. If you would like to join a Dine Around, contact the Dine Around Host that is listed for each restaurant. Please notify the DINE AROUND HOST that you would like to participate in the dinner no later than Thursday, July 19th. When a Dine Around at a particular location has reached capacity, it will say CLOSED below the Host's name.
